What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny punctures stimulate the skin’s natural healing process, promoting collagen and elastin production, which are essential proteins for maintaining skin elasticity, structure, and firmness.

Microneedling can improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles, fine lines, and uneven skin texture by enhancing the skin’s natural regeneration process. How it works on a cellular level

Micro-injuries: The needles penetrate the epidermis and sometimes the upper dermis, creating micro-wounds without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Inflammatory phase: These micro-injuries trigger the body’s wound-healing response. Platelets release growth factors like platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β), which recruit fibroblasts and other cells to the site.

Proliferative phase: Fibroblasts begin producing new collagen and elastin, while keratinocytes proliferate to restore the epidermis.

Remodeling phase: The extracellular matrix is rebuilt, and newly formed collagen matures and reorganizes, resulting in firmer, smoother, and rejuvenated skin.

During this service, we utilize a hyaluronic acid serum on the skin for extra hydration and plumping. We also utilize stem cell serums and exosomes during and after the procedure for added skin benefits.

Microneedling with botox and filler

A botox and filler facial combines a microneedling procedure with topical serums, botox, and filler to deliver customized skin solutions deep into the epidermis. By utilizing a small microneedle stamping device on the skin, we can deliver neurotoxins and dermal filler into the upper layers of the skin producing an airbrushing effect but not freeze the face. This treatment utilizes a device with needles smaller than a human hair to deliver product to the skin, targeting large pores and decreasing oil production while simultaneously stimulating collagen.

PRF Microneedling

PRF microneedling combines microneedling with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a natural concentrate derived from the patient’s own blood. PRF is rich in platelets, growth factors, and fibrin, which support tissue regeneration and healing. During the procedure, microneedling creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen production. PRF is then applied to the skin, allowing its potent healing factors to penetrate through the micro-channels.
